Forget-me-not

This flower's history stems from a story of love. It also represents a promise that you will remember someone and keep them in your thoughts, along with symbolic meanings of eternal love, endurance and devotion.

The Forget-me-not has many legends written about it and is used widely as a symbol to many charities. This small but powerful flower is what we have chosen to use as part of our hub. We will never forget those special memories and bonds with the loved ones we have lost and we will continue to remember and honour them through our never-ending love.

We can look to seek comfort and peace with our memories, even though it may hurt at times to visit those places. Working through grief and loss is difficult and complex, so take time to sit and allow your thoughts to come, whatever they may be. Even when happy memories can sometimes feel painful, that's OK. I still struggle to look at photos and videos and will allow myself to cry, feel angry or just let it wash over me. I treasure those pictures and even if you have just one, use that as your comforter.

One day, maybe one day in the future hopefully you can find peace and strength with these memories and realise how strong you are and how far you've come.
